Description :
Antique Singer 66 "Red Eye" Treadle Sewing Machine With Cabinet Early 1900s Singer 66 "Red Eye" The "Red Eye" in a Singer Treadle sewing machine refers to a specific style of decorative decals found on the Singer 66 model, not a separate model itself. These decals, characterized by a distinctive red and gold eye design, were primarily used on the Singer 66 class machines during the early 20th century Singer treadle sewing machines were particularly popular during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These machines were powered by a foot-operated treadle, offering a convenient and efficient alternative to hand sewing. The ornate detailing and sturdy construction of these machines made them not only functional tools but also beautiful pieces of furniture, often passed down through generations. Original cabinet has 3 vertical drawers on either side, with one shallow drawer in the middle. 2 keys included in middle drawer. Treadle mechanism moves freely, but I have no idea how the sewing machine connects to the cabinet Singer 66: 12"T x 16"W x 7"D Cabinet: 30.5"T x 36.5"W x 18"D Untested!
