Vintage Framed Brass Rubbing Of Sir Thomas Golde Sir Thomas Golde, died in 1525 and was from Crewkerne, Somerset, England. The artwork is a brass rubbing, a traditional method of creating an impression of engraved brass plates, often found on tombs in churches. The figure of Sir Thomas Golde in the rubbing is depicted in armor, kneeling in prayer, which is characteristic of medieval tomb effigies The piece appears to date back to the late 1960s 16.5"T x 10.5"W

If full payment is not received before the pick-up date and time, the items will be forfeited, and bidding privileges revoked. Pick-up address will be on the invoice e-mailed after the auction closes. All items not picked up during the designated times will be considered abandoned and may be donated or resold. At our sole discretion, an alternate pick-up time may be arranged. If this is possible, an appropriate fee may be charged. A 15% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax are added to the winning bid amount when invoiced. Sales tax is waived for licensed re-sellers that provide a current Re-sellers Permit. We make every effort to describe lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw.
