Description :
(3) Loyal H. Chapman Precarious Golf Holes Framed Prints This is a framed lithograph print titled "St. Ludwig's Royal Bavarian Golf & Hunt Club" from Loyal H. Chapman's "Infamous 18" series. The artwork whimsically reimagines Neuschwanstein Castle as the 16th hole of a fantastical golf course This piece belongs to Chapman's widely recognized "Infamous 18 Golf Holes" series, which he began painting in 1975. The series features highly detailed, surreal fantasy golf courses set in impossibly challenging or dramatic locations around the world. A fictional fairway tightly framed by massive, towering redwood trees with a lone golfer standing down on the green. The satirical text printed at the bottom of the border describes the hole as a 535-Yard, Par 5. The text provides a tongue-in-cheek commentary on the immense technical difficulty and accuracy required to navigate such an extraordinary hazard "No. 4 Grand Canyon C.C." golf hole by artist Loyal H. Chapman. The image depicts a precarious 287-yard, Par 4 hole designed in a surreal canyon landscape. It is described as a short but demanding hole with steep cliff drops. Each print is mounted under glass in a brushed gold frame and measures 18"x24”
"No. 3 Redwood Forest Golf Club" by the celebrated artist and golfer Loyal H. "Bud" Chapman.
