This lot represents the ultimate collector's setup because it includes not only the lantern but its entire original deployment kit, featuring the hard-to-find internal cardboard liner trays, the original metal fuel funnel, and two spare generators.

During the mid-to-late 20th century, companies like the Armstrong Products Co. built heavy-duty tactical lanterns to strict military blueprints. This rugged survivor features the iconic olive drab green finish, a multi-piece quadrant glass globe frame, and crisp, legible safety decals on the fount (tank). The underside is clearly stamped: "U.S. ARMSTRONG PRODUCTS CO. 1977".
