5 piece set of vintage Norman Rockwell lithograph prints, produced by Curtis Publishing in the 1970s from classic Saturday Evening Post illustrations

Top Left: "At the Optometrist" (also known as "Boy with New Glasses" or "The Oculist"). Originally published as The Saturday Evening Post cover on May 19, 1956.

Bottom Left: "Pals" (often titled "Waiting for the Vet" or "At the Vet"). It depicts a young boy tenderly holding his sick puppy while sitting on a bench next to a fawn and other animals.

Middle Right: "The Runaway". This famous image shows a young boy with his knapsack conversing with a state trooper at a restaurant lunch counter. Originally published as The Saturday Evening Post cover on September 20, 1958.

Bottom Right: "First Signs of Spring" (sometimes called "Springtime" or "First Flower"). It depicts a suburban man on his knees discovering the season's first tiny sprout emerging through the ground. Originally published as The Saturday Evening Post cover on March 22, 1947.

Top Right Inset Print: "The Discovery" (frequently known as "Does He Know?" or "Truth About Santa"). It captures a young boy who has just discovered a hidden Santa Claus suit inside a dresser drawer. Originally published as The Saturday Evening Post cover on December 29, 1956.

Thank you for your participation! Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you win, you must pick up your item(s). If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges may be permanently revoked. Do not bid if you do not intend to purchase. If you bid, you MUST be available/arrange for pick-up of purchases on the pick-up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements. Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor or out-building. Invoices are emailed to winning bidders once the entire sale has closed. If full payment is not received before the pick-up date and time, the items will be forfeited, and bidding privileges revoked. Pick-up address will be e-mailed and texted at 5am the morning of your scheduled pick up day. All items not picked up during the designated times will be considered abandoned and may be donated or resold. At our sole discretion, an alternate pick-up time may be arranged. If this is possible, an appropriate fee may be charged. A 15% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax are added to the winning bid amount when invoiced. Sales tax is waived for licensed re-sellers that provide a current Washington Re-seller's Permit. We make every effort to describe lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. Sparks Estate Services does not guarantee the working condition of any item, although we test when possible. Dimensions given may be approximate. All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns.
