Description :
Lot of (2) Vintage Tin Litho Toys: 1950s Wyandotte Day & Nite Tow Truck & 1947 Marx B.O. Plenty Windup (1) 1950s Wyandotte Day & Nite Towing Wrecker Truck, a classic piece of American automotive toy history produced by the All-Metal Products Company. Constructed with a durable pressed steel body, the toy features a striking red cab integrated with an off-white truck bed, accented by a red plastic front grille and cab insert. The truck boasts vibrant, original lithographed graphics, featuring the distinctive oval "Wyandotte" logo on both cab doors and a bold, black-and-yellow striped "Towing Day - Nite" promotional graphic emblazoned across the side beds. Showing a beautifully authentic, age-appropriate patina with minor paint wear, light surface scuffs, and expected oxidation on exposed metal surfaces, this mid-century wrecker retains its structural integrity, all four black tires, and its iconic rear towing boom, making it a highly collectible and nostalgic display piece for antique toy enthusiasts. 5"T x 13.5"L x 4.5"W (1) Vintage Marx "B.O. Plenty" tin lithograph wind-up toy from the late 1930s/1940s, based on the iconic Dick Tracy comic strip. This classic 8.5-inch walking collectible features vibrant graphics of the character cradling his daughter, Sparkle Plenty, and holding a gift package labeled "For Baby." The integrated clockwork mechanism functions properly (albeit slowly), creating a charming rocking motion that causes his yellow hat to bounce up and down. Showing only minor age-appropriate surface wear, this completely original piece serves as an exceptional addition to any antique toy collection. 8.5"T x 3"W x 2.5"D Count: 2 items
