Normal Rockwell Young Love and Young Romance Series

The "Young Love" 1949 Series (Top 4 Plates)

These four plates depict the story of a boy, a girl, and their changing relationship over the course of a single year.

Top Left (Spring): “Sprouting” (or “The Truant”) – A young boy and girl skipping school, sitting together on a log under the watchful eye of a trailing dog.

Top Right (Summer): “Flying High” – The young couple enjoying the summer breeze on a makeshift wooden teeter-totter or swing.

Middle Left (Autumn): “The Rivals” – A classic scene of seasonal transition, featuring the kids bundled up with a football, introducing a playful romantic rivalry.

Middle Right (Winter): “A Dog's Day” (or “Cold Comfort”) – The couple walking closely together through the snow with their dog, braving the winter chill.

The "Young Romance" Series (Bottom 2 Plates)

The bottom two plates capture milestone moments of young adulthood and formal romance.

Bottom Left: “Pram Race” (or “The Baby Sitter”) – A chaotic, humorous look at a young couple looking after children, trying to control a runaway baby carriage.

Bottom Right: “Going Steady” (or “The Prom Dress”) – A classic scene depicting a young couple dressed up for a formal high school dance or prom night.

All come in original styrofoam or box with COA.
