Description :
A collection of seven vintage holiday collector plates featuring famous Santa Claus and Christmas illustrations. Most of these are part of the officially certified Edwin M. Knowles / Rockwell Society of America Annual Christmas Series. "Scotty Plays Santa" (1980): Features a man pulling up and stuffing an oversized red Santa suit. "Santa in the Subway" (1983): Depicts Santa sitting down on a subway car with a bag of toys, surrounded by passengers. "Christmas Courtship" (1982): Shows an older couple sitting together fondly by a warmth-filled backdrop. "Grandpa Plays Santa" (1985): Shows a grandfatherly figure laughing warmly as he dons a Santa hat and holds a small pipe. "Santa's Golden Gift" (1987): Features a classic close-up portrait profile of Santa holding a shining gold pocket watch alongside a bundle of toys. "Jolly Old St. Nick" (1989): Shows Santa dynamically sliding down a snowy chimney with one foot raised high in the air. Haddon Sundblom Coca-Cola Close-Up. Not a Rockwell, this plate displays a famous Haddon Sundblom illustration featuring Santa drinking a Coca-Cola while resting his cheek on his hand. Thank you for your participation! Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you win, you must pick up your item(s). If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges may be permanently revoked. Do not bid if you do not intend to purchase. If you bid, you MUST be available/arrange for pick-up of purchases on the pick-up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements. Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor or out-building. Invoices are emailed to winning bidders once the entire sale has closed. If full payment is not received before the pick-up date and time, the items will be forfeited, and bidding privileges revoked. Pick-up address will be e-mailed and texted at 5am the morning of your scheduled pick up day. All items not picked up during the designated times will be considered abandoned and may be donated or resold. At our sole discretion, an alternate pick-up time may be arranged. If this is possible, an appropriate fee may be charged. A 15% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax are added to the winning bid amount when invoiced. Sales tax is waived for licensed re-sellers that provide a current Washington Re-seller's Permit. We make every effort to describe lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. Sparks Estate Services does not guarantee the working condition of any item, although we test when possible. Dimensions given may be approximate. All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns.
