Description :

Vintage 1970s BUCK 107 Scout Fixed Blade Hunting Knife W/ Leather Sheath

Rare 1973-1975 2-Line Script Tang Stamp, Bos 440C Stainless, Collectible Micarta Grip

Highly collectible, vintage Buck Model 107 Scout fixed-blade knife, complete with its original factory leather pouch sheath. This particular knife features the highly desirable, early two-line script tang stamp ("Buck / USA"), pinpointing its exact date of manufacture between 1973 and 1975.

Originally born as the premium paring knife component of Buck's elite "Empress Trio" kitchen cutlery set, this iconic pattern was later officially introduced to the outdoors market in 1976 as the 107 Scout. Crafted from legendary, Paul Bos cryogenic heat-treated 440C stainless steel, the slender trailing-point blade features a factory sharpening choil and an incredibly sharp, structurally intact factory tip with a clean edge profile. The ergonomic "S-curve" handle scales are made of premium, ultra-durable black linen Micarta ("Buckarta") secured tightly by three flush silver pins, retaining a rich black luster with no cracks or chips.

Accompanying the knife is the original, heavy-duty black leather drop-in pouch sheath, deeply stamped with the model designation "BUCK 107" from the 1976–mid-1980s era, featuring tight, unbroken stitching. The entire assembly is in excellent, lightly-used vintage condition, showing only minor surface abrasions and a trace hint of faint oxidation near the integrated bolster guard.

This is an exceptional, investment-grade crossover piece for both vintage Buck cutlery enthusiasts and outdoor knife collectors alike.
