Description :
Vintage 1970s Gerber Coho Fishing Knife Black Armorhide Handle Stamped Leather Sheath Highly collectible, vintage Gerber Coho fillet knife complete with its original factory-stamped leather sheath from Portland, Oregon. This classic 1970s/1980s fishing tool features Gerber's legendary M2 high-speed tool steel blade with industrial hard-chrome plating. The blade retains its full, correct factory profile with no thinned-out recurve or heavy metal loss. One side shows minor cosmetic clouding, while the reverse side exhibits visible sharpening scuffs and light scratches along the grind line from previous maintenance The black "Armorhide" handle is in pristine condition with absolutely none of the typical chipping, peeling, or flaking common to these models, and the "gut spoon" pommel remains perfectly intact. The included leather sheath is structurally sound with tight stitching, a clear "COHO" factory stamp, and light honest wear. This is an exceptional, rock-solid package perfect for either a vintage Gerber collection or immediate field use.
